About
I’ve been thinking of starting a webpage for awhile to help friends and family members with their computer questions. So while searching for a name to call the site, I saw a old crate laying on the floor with some papers and books inside and an idea was born. I started this site in January of 2007 as a regular web page and quickly discovered that a blog format would be a better idea. I stopped updating the blog for a few years ago because of lack of time, fast forward to 2011 with a new site design and hopefully more time to post content.
News. A few time a week ill post news stories that relate to technology or computing that I find around the web from other sites. Or sometimes non news stories that just have to be included or maybe something funny someone Emails me.
The site has a number of pages or Crates where I will add additional info.
The Podcast Crate. Reviews of Podcasts that I listen to and find.
The Program Crate. Links to good free computer programs that will benefit everyone. Any suggestions are welcome, just leave a comment.
The Website Crate. Reviews of Websites I think might be interesting or informative.
The Windows Tips Crate. In the Windows Tips Crate you will find helpful tips, tricks and how-to’s for Windows XP and soon Windows Vista.
The Gadget Crate. Here you will find reviews, descriptions of gadgets you might like.
KevinsCratewelcomes questions from its readers. If you can’t find an answer to what you need on this website, e-mail me at Kevin at kevinscrate.com And I’ll try my best to help.
