Scan your Systems files for Corruption
Category: Windows Tips Crate, XPIf your computer is running a little wonkly lately, or your getting Blue screens of death (BSOD’s) you may have some System files that are corrupted. If so checking your system files may be a good idea.
To open the System File Checker follow the directions below, have your Windows install CD ready, you may be asked for it.
- Click the Start button.
- Choose Run.
- Type sfc /scannow in the Run box.
- Sit back and relax for a while, this may take an hour or more.
