I know this may seem like an easy tip to some, but a few people have asked how to change their desktop background picture to one of their very own pictures. Here’s how to do it.

1. Open the folder where the picture you want to use resides, normally its in.
   C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Documents\My Pictures\
   Your name being your logon name.
2. Right click the picture you want to use and choose Set as desktop background.
