  Are you as tired as I am with the Desktop Cleanup wizard popping up every 60 days asking if I want to remove unused Desktop Icons. Hey if I want them removed I’ll do it myself I used to say.

Here’s how to get rid if it for good.

1. Click a empty space on your desktop and choose Properties.
2. Click the Desktop tab.
3. Choose Customize Desktop.
4. Remove the check mark next to Run Desktop Cleanup Wizard every 60 days.

That’s all there is to it.
