If you are using Firefox as your browser you know automatic updates are turned on by default and sometimes when a new version comes out it breaks some of your extensions, so I normally wait to install an update until my extensions will all work with the latest version. Unless a major security issue is present. So here’s how you can disable auto updates.
- In Firefox click Tools > Options.
- Click the Advanced tab > Update, Then I usually choose Ask me what I want to do When updates to Firefox are found.
