 harddrive If you don’t use the Hibernation option in Windows XP you can turn it off and free up some disk space. ( Up to your amount of ram)

Here’s how.

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Choose Control Panel.
  3. Click Performance and Maintenance.
  4. Choose Power Options.
  5. Click the Hibernate tab.
  6. Remove the check mark next to enable hibernation, click OK when finished.

Windows should automatically delete the file called hiperfil.sys
