Another great comedy duo from Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. In this one they are Wally Karue (Richard Pryor), who is blind, and Dave Lyons (Gene Wilder), who is deaf. Wally comes to Dave's shop looking for a job and is given one, but when Wally's bookie comes into the shop, everything goes wrong. The bookie is trying to hide something, and since Dave can't hear, he doesn't know that anything goes down as an angry woman in red comes in and shots him. With a dead body on the floor, and only Dave knowing what the killer looks like, the two must work together to solve the mystery and clear their names, before the real criminals Eve (Joan Severance), and Kirgo (Kevin Spacey), get to them.
