Foghat's electrified hard-rocking boogie was a multiplatinum success in the 1970s, long after the fabled British blues boom had come to an end - a testament to the enormous and wide-ranging appeal of the music as envisioned by singer/guitarist "Lonesome" Dave Peverett.
The Millennium Tour gives us undistilled Foghat, recorded and filmed live in concert in 1999, shortly before Peverett's premature death at the age of 56.
The power and drive of these songs come joyously ringing through, serving as a celebration of the strength of Peverett's vision and the enormity of his talent, still vibrant these many years since the band had exploded onto the world stage.
